Camp Positions

Camp Counselors (must be at least 18 years old) have the unique privilege of devoting a week of your life to loving and affirming 1-2 campers who may never have experienced this kind of positive attention from an adult willing to spend quality time together each day.

Assistant counselors (must be at least 16 years old) offer support to the camp counselors and campers and are assigned to a ‘cabin’ group. You’ll participate in all the activities, build relationships, and help meet the needs of campers as the counselor supervises.

*Relief counselors help at camp, typically in the evening hours to provide a break for the full-time counseling team. You’ll be with a “cabin” group alongside other relief counselors and enjoy the evening activities with campers. Training is required.

Other Full-Time Camp Staff are needed in daily camp operations such as nurses, behavior specialists, activities director, deans of men and women, coaches, and others depending upon the need.

As a camp counselor, assistant counselor or other full-time staff, you will receive 8-12 hours of training to better equip you to relate to children who come from hard places.

Part-Time positions include lifeguards, birthday team, logistics helpers, camp grandparent, craft helpers, face painters, hospitality team (snack specialists), artists, fishing helpers, wood workers, instrument teachers, photographers, breakfast club helpers, activities assistants, audio tech, rock painters, and more!

Perhaps you have a skill or resource to bring a new element to camp. Feel free to email us with your ideas.

Not-At-Camp Positions

If traveling to camp doesn’t work for you, consider helping with the following:

Blanket makers, camp registration, welcome home dinner, hospitality meals at training, and more.

All those interested in a part-time position must submit an application and be able to pass a background check and participate in training as directed.

All new and returning positions above must submit an application and have a background check completed or have one that has not expired on file with the supporting church, Mosaic Church. New counselors and assistant counselors will be interviewed by our camp's advisory/leadership team.
